Lewisporte has several aspects that make it ideal for tourism.
A world class marina is very active in the town. The Yacht club has a very large membership base and it continues to grow. Lewisporte and its surrounding area contain a number of wonderful hiking trails, these range from the fully built Woolfrey's pond boardwalk, to the natural views of several lookouts along the coast.
